           The JustForFun Realtime Vocoder for SoundBlaster AWE32/64

               This version is dedicated to Pink Floyd :)

1. What is this ?

  This program allows you to transform your voice coming from Line In
  or Mic input. It uses SB16 ADC to sample sound and EMU chip to produce reverb
  and chorus effects.

2. Keys:

  Arrows and Enter - Change options, load chorus/reverb
  Space            - Start/stop sampling
  Esc*2            - Exit

   "CPU Load" indicates CPU time taken by sound processing (not very useful
  in this version...)

3. System requirements:

  o SoundBlaster AWE32 or comp. with some on-board memory
  o 386 or better CPU (but tested only on 486/33...)
  o EGA/VGA card
  o MSDOS
  o BLASTER variable

4. The r/c parameter files are stored in .fxr and .fxc files (AWEFXWorkShop1.1
  format). You may add your own effects by putting them into FXR and FXC
  directories.

   Before running AWETube you should turn off Line In Output or Mic Output in
  your mixer utility. SETMIXER.BAT will turn off Line In Output if you have
  mixerset.exe in C:\VIBRA16.

   BLASTER environment variable should be set correctly.

5. Features&Bugs:

  o Realtime sound transforming
  o 44.1 kHz 16 bit sampling (mono)
  o Sometimes something goes wrong and sometimes the pc hangs up.
    I really don't know why !!!!!! (probably DMA/interrupt problem)
  o A small bug: sometimes exits after only one Esc

6. History:

   1.0 -> 1.16:
  o Sample rate 11/8 -> 44.1/16
  o No klix (I hope...)
  o Fixed bug in file selector

   1.16 -> 1.17:
  o Sampling in background
  o Balance, volume, filter cutoff, lame pitch shift and "save prefs"
    options added
  o "Input" and "CPU Load" indicators added
  o Changed ui
  o Filesize -= 30bytes :)
