 The proposed decay scheme is rather tentative, despite the        535 1451   20
consistency, and is based solely on the gamma-ray measurements of  535 1451   21
Runte et al (1983, 1985).  Some of the data reported by Runte et   535 1451   22
al (1983) were updated by their equivalent studies of 1985.        535 1451   23
Thus, the half-life was adjusted from 4.9(5) to 6.1(6) secs, and   535 1451   24
specific gamma rays were re-assigned to the decay of other         535 1451   25
radionuclides.                                                     535 1451   26
                                                                   535 1451   27
 The decay scheme contains 19 observed gamma-ray transitions with  535 1451   28
reasonably well-defined relative emission probabilities, of which  535 1451   29
six were previously unassigned.  However, some of the suggested    535 1451   30
placements are extremely uncertain, with the creation of Co-63     535 1451   31
nuclear levels that involve depopulation via only a single gamma   535 1451   32
transition.  Direct beta decay to the ground state of Co-63 is a   535 1451   33
key parameter in determining the normalisation factor for the      535 1451   34
relative emission probabilities of the gamma rays.  A              535 1451   35
questionable value of 0.78(8) has been adopted from the studies    535 1451   36
of Runte et al (quoted as 0.76(26) in 1983, and 0.80(27) in        535 1451   37
1985), but with a re-adjusted uncertainty of only 10%.  A          535 1451   38
combination of this re-defined value of 0.78(8) and                535 1451   39
population/depopulation considerations results in a calculated     535 1451   40
normalisation factor of 0.155(60).  While theoretical internal     535 1451   41
conversion coefficients were incorporated into the data set        535 1451   42
(100%M1 for the 149.7 keV gamma ray, and 50%M1 + 50%E2 for the     535 1451   43
other gamma-ray transitions of mixed multipolarity), these data    535 1451   44
have no impact on the calculation of the basic decay scheme.       535 1451   45
Beta-particle emission probabilities were also derived from the    535 1451   46
gamma-ray data, and all of these primary transitions were assumed  535 1451   47
to be allowed.                                                     535 1451   48

 Further detailed gamma-ray studies are required to clarify and    535 1451   50
develop the decay scheme.  Efforts are merited to determine a      535 1451   51
more accurate normalisation factor and better quantified absolute  535 1451   52
emission probabilities for the gamma-ray transitions.              535 1451   53
